What Will Be Dredged Up Next?

Have you ever wondered why the boat docks at CityView get all bent out of shape in the wintertime?  Every winter, the TVA drops the river water level by 10 feet in anticipation of winter snow and spring rain.  The depth of the river bed along the shoreline at CityView has not been sufficient to adjust for the drop and allow continued use of the slips through the winter.  This August, that problem will be rectified as the CityView Boat Dock Association has just completed the Public Notice period required by the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation to request comment on a proposed dredging activity.  Hopefully, with no objections, dredging could begin within the next few weeks.
