In just 2 years, SWFT has achieved many milestones as one of Knoxville’s newest neighborhood organizations. Much of our success can be attributed to the level of neighbor engagement through communications via our Grapevine Newsletter and participation in our Second Monday social events, Butterfly Habitat Project, Game Day Neylgate events, New Neighbor Welcome activities and, yes, attendance at our Board Meetings. At our next Board Meeting, (Monday, October 28th), SWFT will elect a new set of officers to carry us into Year 3. ONLINE Voting will begin 2 weeks earlier on October 14th with final results to be announced at the meeting.
SWFT is currently accepting nominations for all 4 positions. Any consenting resident at CityView or 303 Flats is eligible to be a SWFT officer. Current nominees include:
- President – Debbie Mallard
- Vice-President –
- Communications Director – William Hobson
- Secretary/Treasurer –
Candidates may be placed in nomination by emailing the current Secretary/Treasurer, Andrew Jeske-Polyak, at email@example.com. Submit your nominations now!
